14 DAY TRIAL // It looks like 6 inch is not enough for the average Android user, otherwise why would Zync launch a smartphone with an even bigger display.
Zync Z605 has just been introduced in India and offers potential customers the possibility to experience Android platform on a 6.5-inch display.
Even though the 6.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display supports only 800 x 480 pixels resolution, its size is the phablet's main selling point.
As fonearena points out, Zync Z6-5 can be purchased in India for just Rs 7,999 outright, which is about $130 or €95. Judging by the low price, Android enthusiasts shouldn't expect any high-end features.
In fact, the smartphone packs a disappointing 2-megapixel rear-facing camera, a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls and only 512MB of RAM.
Zync Z605 ships with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and comes preloaded with popular social apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Viber and WhatsApp Messenger.
On the inside, the phablet is equipped with a dual-core processor and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.
Other highlights of the handset include: Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS support, as well as 2500 mAh battery which is rated for up to 6 hours of talk time (2.5 hours in 3G mode).
