With Intel Core processors and NVIDIA graphics

Gaming desktops and notebooks come out on a regular basis, but most of them don't exactly turn out to be very accessible. Most often, companies make sure to pack as much horsepower as possible, since such PCs should be able to cope with not just current gaming challenges, but also future ones. This makes building an affordable gaming laptop rather tricky. Nevertheless, there are still those hardware and computer suppliers that strive towards a price/performance balance, and mySN claims to have achieved this with the QMG6.

The QMG6 is a 15.6-inch mobile PC whose liquid crystal display panel has a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. As such, the machine has full support for HD video and gaming quality. As for the configuration itself, it makes the best of the Intel Calpella platform and an NVIDIA discrete graphics processing unit.

At the heart of the device lies an Intel Core CPU, which can be either a Core i3, a Core i5 or a Core i7, depending on user preference and, of course, budget. The chip is backed up by up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM (random access memory) and a hard disk drive or solid state drive. The maximum storage capacity achievable is 500GB. Furthermore, a GeForce GT 335M graphics solution is present, with 1GB memory of its own. Other components include a 7-in-1 card reader, an ExpressCard slot, a DVD or Blu-ray optical drive, WiFi and optional Bluetooth.

To ensure that the experience is complete, mySN threw in High Definition audio (two integrated speakers) and a HDMI output. All in all, this combination of parts and chip options should let customers strike a reasonable balance between performance and expenses. The mySN QMG6 has a starting price tag of 679 Euro and can be configured and ordered online by visiting this page.
