It looks like Santa Clara won’t be the only Orange-branded smartphone launched in the UK in the following weeks, as the carrier plans to release another ZTE-manufactured handset dubbed Orange Dublin.

Unfortunately, there are little to no details on the smartphone’s technical specifications. We only know that the Orange Dublin is a re-branded ZTE handset and that it will probably be powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

The first press photo of the Orange Dublin has recently leaked online via AndroidGreed, that also claims the smartphone packs HSDPA support.

As we already mentioned, the smartphone is expected to arrive at Orange UK in the following weeks, but more details will emerge as soon as the device pops up on the carrier’s “Coming Soon” page.

It’s almost certain that Orange Dublin will be available for free on select plans, while customers who don’t want to be tied by a long-term plan will be able to purchase it for under 200 GBP (315 USD or 245 EUR) on PAYG (pay as you go).

Until we get more info on the Orange Dublin, the UK-based carrier is expected to make the Orange Santa Clara available to customers.

Keep in mind that Santa Clara is the pre-launch name of the smartphone, and the full name will be announced at launch. The device is now on “Coming Soon” at Orange UK, but no price tag has been unveiled yet.

However, we know the Santa Clara will be available on both monthly plans and PAYG. The smartphone will be shipped with Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and a 1.6 GHz single-core Intel Atom processor.

More highlights of the Santa Clara would be the impressive 8-megapixel rear photo snapper and 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD. Stay tuned for more updates on the Orange Dublin’s upcoming launch.
