We reported less than a week ago on the immediate availability of Karbonn A6 in India, a dual-SIM budget-friendly Android smartphone.

The handset was launched via Snapdeal for Rs 5,390 outright, which is about $100 or €75. Today, Infibeam has just added the Karbonn A6 to its portfolio of cheap smartphones and offers it for a slightly cheaper price.

Potential customers can grab the Karbonn A6 for only Rs 5,295 upfront, which is about $95 or €75. Check it out here.

However, Infibeam states that all orders will ship in 5-7 business days, while Snapdeal claims that it can dispatch the phone in about 4 business days.

Either way, Karbonn A6 ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box and is likely to remain stuck on this version of Google’s mobile platform.

Hardware-wise, the A6 is pretty decent for a smartphone priced under $100/€75. It comes equipped with a single-core processor clocked at 1GHz and 512MB of RAM.

According to the manufactures, the device packs only 104MB of internal memory, but luckily, it comes with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The phone measures 128 x 65.7 x 11.6 mm and weighs only 115 g (battery included). Karbonn A6 sports a more than decent 4.0-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

On the back, the A6 features a 5-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash and video recording, while on the front, there’s a secondary VGA camera for video calls.

Other highlights of the phone include: dual-SIM capability, FM radio, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as GPS and audio jack.

Last but not least, Karbonn A6 is powered by a 1450 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 250 hours of standby time or up to 3.5 hours of talk time.
