The smartphone will feature a price tag of $99.99 (76 Euro) at launch

ARCHOS is yet another company interested in grabbing some market share in the Android smartphone segment, as the company has just announced an affordable such device, the ARCHOS 35 Carbon.

Packing a 3.5-inch touchscreen display and a 1GHz Qualcomm 7225A processor inside, the new device arrives on shelves with 512 MB of RAM, as well as with 4GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

It also sports a 1300 mAh battery inside, two VGA cameras (back and front), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS receiver, MicroUSB slot, 3G connectivity, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich loaded on top.

The smartphone is set to become available for purchase in Europe at the end of May, and should sport a price tag of $99.99 (76 Euro) at launch, the company also announced.
