ZTE is reportedly gearing up for the launch of an affordable device packing a 5-inch touchscreen display, known as ZTE U956 at the moment, and the handset has emerged in a series of leaked photos recently.
The new mobile phone
is said to arrive on shelves with a 5-inch display capable of delivering a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, while featuring a quad-core processor packed inside.
The device has already received the necessary approvals in China, it seems
, but it hasn’t been officially introduced on this market as of now.
Rumor has it that the smartphone will cost only 1,499 Yuan ($240 / €180) when launched, which would make it one of the most affordable quad-core handsets available on shelves.
