Things seem to still be dragging along on the IT market, at least as far as new product releases go, but at least companies are again trying to outdo one another, although Aerocool is not exactly engaging in any rivalry right now, having created a new PC case for those seeking affordability.

Soon enough, the rivalry between NVIDIA and AMD will be taken one step forward, once the former unleashes its own dual-GPU graphics card.

In fact, a competition will probably spark between the latter's Radeon HD 6950 (like the new one from Sapphire) and NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 550 Ti, a mainstream Fermi model set to debut soon.

Regardless, makers of PC enclosures, like Enermax, are making new cases so that those that want to create a new system may have options when deciding on their PC's looks and ease of use.

That said, Aerocool also prepared a case, although not as expensive or feature-packed as what Enermax offered.

Dubbed Vs-4, the model is more aimed at those consumers that want a decent-looking enclosure with a price that is easy to pay, or close enough anyway.

That said, it is made of SECC steel (0.5 mm) and has enough space on the inside to fit graphics cards with length of 430 mm.

Of course, that space turns into just 290 mm by the FDD rack. Fortunately, said rack, like the one for HDDs (hard disk drives) is removable.

Other specs include four exposed 5.25-inch drive bays, a front panel with USB and audio ports, a 120 mm sleeve bearing fan at the back (rotary speed is of up to 1,500 RPM) and a pair of pre-drilled watercooling holes at the rear.

The report says that online stores should have the Vs-4 listed already, for 38 Euro. What remains is to see how many budget-limited gamers go for it.
