People wondering if they had any fresh case to put their new rigs in can rest assured that Aerocool, at least, is ready to oblige, with two additions to the Strike-X collection.

The two chassis that Aerocool is revealed to have completed are meant for heavyweight gamers, so to speak.

They are large, solid, feature-rich products that are set to start selling at some point this month (October, 2011).

The Strike-X ST (Super Tower) is the bigger of the two, measuring 635 by 230 by 700 mm (23.62 x 9.05 x 27.55 inches).

It has four 5.25-inch drive bays for ODDs (optical disk drives) or accessories (drive cages, fan controllers, etc).

Also, there should be ten 3.5-inch HDD/SSD bays on the inside, plus room for HPTX-ATX, micro ATX, ATX, E-ATX and XL-ATX mainboards.

Additionally, there are a pair of USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports on top, while the eye-catching design is supplemented by two 120mm fans with RED LEDs.

The other chassis, the Strike-S GTX (Gaming Tower) handles micro ATX and ATX mainboards, comes with three 5.25-inch bays (exposed), six 3.5-inch bays, a single USB 3.0 port on the top panel (the other three are USB 2.0) and similar fans.

The GT measures 465 (H) x 190 (W) x 490 (D) mm (18.30 x 7.48 x 19.29 inches) and, like its sibling, is designed for gamers and enthusiasts.

Both the Strike-X GT and Strike-X ST come colored black on both the outside and inside, though Devil Red versions exist as well (red interior).

The two share other similarities as well, like tool-free drive mounting and watercooling tubes at the back.

Aerocool's Strike-X ST has a price of 165.50 Euro ($222.94, based on exchange rates) while its smaller sibling is priced at 55.90 Euro ($75.30).
