An advertising company in Texas is showing that there is such a thing as negative publicity by sticking a decal of a tied up woman on a truck to promote their business.

The owner of the Hornet Signs company in Waco want to prove that their auto decals can be very realistic. They printed out the image of the woman, who appeared to have been kidnapped and posted it.

They placed the ad on an employee's vehicle and another employee volunteered to model for the photo-op.

They were faced with a lot of negative criticism, with many people stressing that the ad promotes violence.

"I wasn't expecting the reactions that we got, nor was it really anything we certainly condone or anything else. [...] But it was just something...we had to put out there to see who notices it," owner Brad Kolb explains for KWTX.
