Canonical is doing its best to improve the company’s image, along with Ubuntu’s. For this purpose they have released a project called Ubuntu Advocacy Kit.

According to Canonical, users will be able to create a single downloadable kit that provides all the information and materials users need to go out and help advocate Ubuntu and all the other flavors to others.

The installation of this package is rather simple and it’s done with the help of a PPA. All you will need is a working Internet connection and a terminal. Just open a terminal, anywhere, and enter the following commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:uak-admins/uak sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install uak-en

After the installation is complete, you will be able to find the appropriate shortcut in the Dash. Selecting the entry will load the kit in your default browser.

More details about the Ubuntu Advocacy Kit can be found in the announcement posted by Ubuntu Community Manager, Jono Bacon.
