One of the best call managers and organizers for Symbian smartphones on the market has been developed by WebGate, and it goes by the name of Advanced Call Manager. Either you want to personalize your incoming calls for different callers, or you want to rejects or forward calls, this application can do it for you and it doesn’t stop here. You'll be able to organize and customize your phone book in the form of lists, such as Blacklist, White list (important people who are "allowed" to call you) or any other custom list (a very special group could be your family, to which you may wish to send a personal SMS if they call during a business meeting).

Moreover, the software enables you to set various actions for these lists that have been previously set, such as: accept, reject, divert calls, send personalized SMS, play personalized greeting or mute the ringer. The application also contains a wide range of SMS templates that can be set as special messages for each group very easily. The same goes for voice greetings.


Advanced Call Manager allows you to save your customized settings in the form of profiles. These profiles can be easily changed with just a few clicks. Furthermore, with the help of a great feature called Scheduler you can set your Profiles to activate anytime you like. Profiles can also be activated according to the location, as the software includes a nice feature called Locator. Either you are at the Office, or simply out shopping, the profiles will activate according to the settings you previously made.


Other features of the application include: Ultrafast recognition and capturing of incoming calls, leaving the caller unaware of your current un/availability; Changeable status indicator of the program activity in the phone stand, by screen (not available for BlackBerry devices); Support of Profiles to keep typical frequently used scenarios and settings; Handling of Hidden callers to help you avoid people whose numbers cannot be retrieved; Tight integration with the contacts from the phone book; Autorun at power on.

Advanced Call Manager is fully compatible with S60 devices (including 5th Edition), S80, UIQ, UIQ3, UIQ2 and BlackBerry. The price for the application is 25.50USD, but a trial version is also available for download.
