Staff at the Longleat Safari & Adventure Park in the United Kingdom has recently announced that the facility is now home to a pair of adorable baby ring-tailed lemurs.

Keepers detail that the young lemurs, pictured above, were born to mom Hasina and dad Julien on March 25. Presently, it is unclear whether they are boys, girls, or one of each. Hence, they have not yet been named.

Caretakers in charge of keeping tabs on the lemurs family say that the twins have grown accustomed to life at the Longleat Safari & Adventure Park and that they both seem to be in good health.

“Hasina is a very laid back mum and this is her third pregnancy. She seems to have taken the whole birth very much in her stride and is an extremely attentive mother,” keeper Beverly Evand said in a statement, as cited by Zoo Borns.

Despite being very young, the baby lemurs appear to have already taken a liking to sunbathing. Thus, it is said that each morning they spend some time facing the sun, together with their mom. This helps them keep warm, keepers explain.

According to wildlife researchers, this species of lemurs only inhabits the island of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. Due to the fact that humans have destroyed a large portion of their natural habitat, ring-tailed lemurs have experienced a worrying drop in their population in recent years.
