Some say these foxes are simply the cutest furry creatures they ever got to see

This past Sunday, the staff at the Lindsay Wildlife Museum, California had to part with three orphaned gray foxes which were returned to the wild after being looked after for roughly six months at said wildlife sanctuary.

The baby foxes were found abandoned in a backyard quite a while ago, and the people who helped rescue them claim that, at that point, they were so tiny they could not even open their eyes.

Now that they are older and strong enough to keep their eyes open and stay clear of danger, the foxes have been released into the Californian wilderness, Huffington Post reports.

“It's a really nice feeling to go through all this work and then see these foxes go back into the wild where they should be,” wildlife specialist Jean Yin said.

Some speculate that the foxes' mother died after accidentally eating rat poison.
