New flavors of the Adobe Flash Player are now available for download for Android devices, meant to resolve a recently discovered vulnerability in the plugin.

The company warns that all users with Flash Player 11.1.115.36 or earlier versions installed on their Android 4.x machines should update to Flash Player 11.1.115.37 as soon as possible.

Furthermore, the company notes that owners of Android 2.x and Android 3.x devices with Flash Player 11.1.111.31 or earlier versions should update the plugin to version 11.1.111.32.

However, users should take note of the fact that this applies only to devices that have had Flash Player installed before August 15, 2012.

Users with Adobe’s software installed on their phones and tablets can check on its version through heading to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Adobe Flash Player x.x.
