Adobe has just made available a new version of its Flash Player for Android, packing it with a series of bug fixes specifically aimed at the latest version of the OS, Ice Cream Sandwich.

The release notes found on Adobe’s website say that this update fixes the following issue: “Video showing up as 'green screen' on certain ICS based devices.”

The new Flash Player for Android arrives as version 11.1.112.61 and is already available for download via the Android Market.

The software was meant to provide mobile phone users with the possibility to enjoy rich web content the same way they would on their desktop PCs.

For those out of the loop, we should note that only bug fixes would emerge for Flash Player for Android moving forth. Adobe announced several months ago that it would discontinue the development of the software.
