Adobe has updated its free Photoshop tool for iPhone and iPad adding an “autocorrect” function, extra borders and frames, as well as performance enhancements and bug fixes.

Adobe Photoshop Express lets you make simple edits using touch gestures on your iPhone or iPad. You get basic editing features like crop, straighten, rotate, and flip, a bunch of color tweaks (exposure, contrast, saturation etc.), filters, effects, and borders.

In version 2.7 you get “autocorrect,” a new feature that promises to make your photos look great with just a single tap. Think of it as auto-enhance.

A new free borders pack is available with 40 different items to choose from (including frames).

Lastly, version 2.7 brings “performance enhancements, workflow improvements, and bug fixes,” says Adobe.

Adobe Photoshop Express is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later. The app is optimized for iPhone 5.
