Adobe’s “look but you can’t touch” campaign, with the sneak peeks to the upcoming Photoshop CS6’s features, is close to an end. They announced the official launch of the suite. The event is programmed for today, at 10 AM Pacific Time.

Among the incredible features integrated in the upcoming Photoshop, there is the content-aware patch, as well as a new blur gallery that consists of three filters: iris blur, field blur and tilt-shift. Also thrown into the mix are video editing possibilities.

The crop tool has been completely redesigned to ensure greater precision, and editing is done much faster thanks to Mercury Graphics Engine, which relies on GPU to complete the tasks.

User-inspired improvements aimed at designers are also available. As such, the new suite introduces real vector layers or snap-to-pixel, and layer search.

Although it launches today, Photoshop CS6 won’t be available for immediate purchase, but you can place a pre-order ($699.99/~€533), which is estimated for availability on May 7.
