A new version of Photoshop was launched earlier today

Adobe today introduced a brand new version of Photoshop that comes with a plethora of changes, including here feature improvements, bug fixes, and new options.

First and foremost, Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 15.0 comes with several experimental features, including touch gestures, multitone 3D printing and support for scaling the UI to up to 200 percent for high-density displays.

The new version also brings improvements for smart guides, path measurements and linked smart objects, according to the official release notes, while also making it easier to search for fonts with the help of the Text tool options and the Character panel font lists.

At the same time, Photoshop CC 2014 15.0 features a number of improvements for its 3D printing capabilities, including a new rendering engine for the “Print Preview” dialog that shows more accurate previews with realistic lighting.

Synchronization has also been significantly improved in the new version, so you can now specify the direction of sync, upload or download settings directly from the Preferences > Sync Settings tab, synchronize workspaces, keyboard shortcuts, and menu customizations.

Of course, there are plenty of other improvements available in this new version, including import-only native support for MPEG-2 and Dolby audio, Smart Guides now enabled by default, new Hue and Brightness color picker cubes in the Color panel, support for new video formats, including Sony RAW and Canon RAW, and improved UI content for the New Document preset dialog.
