According to a recent SEC filing made by Adobe Systems Inc., Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Adobe, Kevin Lynch, will be taking up a new stint at Apple Inc.

The news was originally broken via Twitter by CNBC (screenshot above). Then, as people had become curious about the veracity of the rumor, someone discovered the actual confirmation from Adobe in some regulatory filings made by the company.

In Adobe’s latest SEC documentation, the Flash makers state, “On March 18, 2013, Kevin Lynch resigned from his position as Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, of Adobe Systems Incorporated, effective March 22, 2013, to pursue other opportunities.”

Now all that remains to be revealed is what exactly will Mr. Lynch be in charge with at Apple. Could he be the actual replacement to ousted Apple exec Scott Forstall?

It’s funny to see that three years after Steve Jobs’ demolishing “Thoughts on Flash” letter, one of Adobe’s heads is actually switching camps.
