Adobe Labs have just released new updates for their Adobe Lightroom and Camera Raw image editing applications that come with a few improvements, bug fixes as well as new cameras and lenses support.

In addition to that, the new Camera Raw RC update is available for all Adobe Photoshop CC users as well as for those that still use the older Adobe Photoshop C6 version.

The new updates come with support for 15 new cameras including Nikon D610, Nikon 5300, Olympus OM-D E-M1, Sony A7/A7R and many more. Eight new lens profiles are also available in these release candidates including 3 Nikon lenses, 1 Canon lens, 2 lenses from Sigma and 2 Sony lens profiles.

Moreover, the CC version of the new Camera Raw release candidate comes with a few fresh features not found in the CS6 version of the same application.

The following new features have been added in Camera Raw 8.3 for CC:

- Whites and Blacks now support Auto Levels-like functionality via shift-double-click on the sliders. - Separate Auto Temperature and Auto Tint feature. Shift-double-click to invoke "auto temperature" and "auto tint" separately. - Ability to option-click shortcut in Synchronize, New Preset, Save Settings, and Copy/Paste (Bridge) dialog boxes. Option-click a checkbox to check that box exclusively. Option-click again to toggle previous checkbox state. - Set the background color of the work area.
