Adobe's annual Digital Publishing Summit has yielded good news for users of its Digital Publishing Suite, including such big names as Conde Nast, and others creating digital magazines, books and newspapers for iPhone and iPad.

Adobe outlined a few key enhancements “that will allow media companies and corporate publishers to deliver unparalleled reach and monetize their unique content in new ways,” the company said today.

Among those new things was an update to Content Viewer, a tool that allows media and corporate organizations to target digital publication delivery across iPhone and iPod touch. Previously, this was only possible on the Apple iPad, Kindle Fire and Android tablets.

The tool is said to expand reach and access of content to over 220 million devices globally.

The New Yorker, a Conde Nast publication, will be the first magazine featured in Content Viewer at Adobe’s Digital Publishing Summit showcase.
