Adobe has just released an updated beta version of its well-known Flash Player software, thus providing web developers with a new build to install on their testing machines.

This new release is particularly focused on fixing bugs and bringing a number of enhancements, and although Adobe says that new features are also included, there’s not much to see in the release notes. Basically, the feature lineup of the original beta version 15 is unchanged, but thanks to today’s bug fixes, everything should work smoother and the app should be a bit more stable.

“This beta release includes new features as well as enhancements and bug fixes related to security, stability, performance, and device compatibility for Flash Player 15 and AIR 15. This document may be updated periodically as more information becomes available,” Adobe says.

“As always, we appreciate all feedback. We encourage you to post in our beta forums or create bug reports or feature requests on our public bug database.”

Needless to say, this new version is specifically designed for web developers or those more experienced who want to see what’s to come in future builds of Adobe Flash Player. It’s by no means designed to be installed on production machines and the majority of users should stick to the stable build.

Otherwise, just go ahead and download Adobe Flash Player 15.0.0.144 Beta to see what’s new in this fresh build of the client runtime environment.
