Adobe released the stable builds for Flash Player 11.4 and AIR 3.4, featuring ActionScript workers and improvements as far as iOS support is concerned.

Through ActionScript Concurrency Flash Player 11.4, game content is more responsive as tasks and computations are offloaded to background workers that run concurrently, thus leveraging the machine’s resources and preventing freezes or slow-downs.

Moreover, Flash now integrates webcam support for StageVideo. This translates to better webcam video streaming because of the hardware acceleration that comes with StageVideo API.

Stage3D content can now run accelerated on a wider range of hardware, Intel GMA chipsets in particular.

Notable for AIR 3.4 revision are features such as iOS push notifications, iOS 5.1 SDK support and compressed texture with alpha for stage3D and Webcam support for StageVideo. An extensive overview of all the features for this release can be found here.
