Adobe released today the third beta for their Flash Player, incrementing the build number to 11.2.202.160.

There aren’t too many details about this release, but the one thing that’s for sure is that this beta provides access to the Flash Player 11.2 runtime for all supported desktop environments (Windows, Mac OS and Linux).

The features for Adobe Flash Player 11.2 beta remain the same, including mouse-related progress (mouse lock, relative mouse coordinates, right and middle click events), multi-threaded video decoding and background updates for Windows users.

The increased mouse support aims opens the way to new content, such as panoramic games with infinite scrolling.

Multi-threaded video decoding should improve overall performance on all platforms (Windows, Mac and Linux) and is a significant architecture change absolutely necessary for other future improvements.
