Adnan Ghalib Stabbed

Adnan Ghalib is one name most of you have probably forgotten. However, someone out there remembered the name of the paparazzi-turned-Britney's-bedmate well enough to stalk him, send him death threats and eventually put them into practice. A report has emerged claiming that just about the same time Britney was out getting her car wrecked in a minor pile-up, Ghalib was attacked and stabbed by a mystery hit man - or woman. And although only limited information is currently available, it sounds like someone definitely wanted Adnan out of the picture.

The photographer is said to have received a stab wound to his arm, have facial lacerations as well as a black eye. He allegedly received medical attention and is said to be doing as well as can be hoped under the circumstances. No word yet on where the supposed attack took place, the number of aggressors and any other specific details. On several occasions in the past, Ghalib complained that he had received death threats and was fearing for his safety, however given the nature of his profession, as well as the fact that he was many times accused of stirring up drama unnecessarily (particularly during his relationship with Spears), many believed the "death threats" were just another publicity stunt aimed to get him further exposure.

However, they may have been more than empty threats or a very bad joke from some crazed Britney fan. If the stabbing is real, then the police will probably have a hard time catching the assailant, given that pretty much every die-hard Britney fan is a potential suspect, along with disgruntled paparazzi, Glalib's former wife and ex girlfriends and so on. If one thing is for sure, it's that the paparazzi definitely didn't make life easy for himself. Of course, if we choose to take the "everyone hates Adnan" angle, Britney herself along with her entire family are suspects, given that the photographer was at the popwreck's side as she was going through her roughest hour, and his scheming and back-stabbing definitely didn't do much to help her once her mental problems made her hit rock bottom.
