Some of the most shocking moments in Britney Spears’ life also included a much-mediated relationship with paparazzo Adnan Ghalib. Now with a restraining order that keeps him away from the pop star, Adnan is also facing more serious legal issues, as he has just been charged with three felonies and an arrest warrant has been issued in his name, TMZ reports.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred a few days back, when the paparazzo turned celebrity by association, as he’s often referred to in the tabloid media, tried to run over a process server with his car. The man was at Adnan’s place to serve him with papers on behalf of Britney Spears when he was hit by the former pap with the car. Adnan has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and hit and run, according to the aforementioned website.

Given the injuries that the server sustained, which included a broken wrist and many cuts and bruises, it is believed that, once Adnan is brought in, the bail will be set at $110,000. Moreover, since the former paparazzo continued driving his Mercedez with the process server on the hood, it is believed he will most likely be sentenced to jail. If found guilty on all three charges, he faces up to seven years in prison.

Just recently, Ghalib’s name made it again in all the headlines when he said that he was still very much in contact and in love with Britney Spears, adding that the feeling was mutual. This statement came just as the pop star was about to have a judge reissue one of the two restraining orders she had against him, and which virtually prevented him from coming anywhere closer to her than 250 yards.

“I still love Britney. I’m her boyfriend. Britney has a beautiful soul. We share something really special. The truth about us will come out eventually, but it’s not for me to talk about. I love her.” Ghalib said for Heat magazine a short while back.
