British singer Adele is undeniably one of the most popular and talented young artists of today. On last night’s results show of Dancing With the Stars, Adele wowed with her live performance, despite saying that she was having problems with her voice.

To promote her latest single “Rolling in the Deep,” Adele made an appearance on ABC’s popular show. She was initially supposed to sing 2 songs, but she had to cut the performance short after just one.

Adele sang “Rolling in the Deep” – and, as always, she killed it, as the video below will undoubtedly confirm.

Despite the pitch-perfect performance, which made the delight of her fans (who also happen to be DWTS fans as well to tune in), Adele said that she couldn’t sing the second song of the night because she had problems with her voice.

“She was forced to hand over singing duties of the Carole King hit Natural Woman to Australian singer Delta Goodrem, because she was having difficulty reaching the high notes,” Monsters And Critics reports.

Adele herself made the admission to host Tom Bergeron, who appeared somewhat amused by her British vocabulary.

“I was going to be covering Natural Woman but my voice is going a bit, its knackered and I need to save it. Delta Goodrem has stepped in with an hour’s notice, so thanks very much. I am gutted,” Adele said, as per the same publication.

That said, Delta stepped in for Adele. Before that, Delta had performed “I’m Not Ready,” a duet with Michael Bolton, who left the previous season of DWTS accusing Bruno of being a bully in need of a good “soul searching.”

Also on DWTS the other night, Romeo and partner Chelsie Hightower were eliminated after the public vote, TooFab reports.
