Adderall, Xanax, and Vicodin are suing a clothing store in LA for selling sports jerseys with the names of the companies on the back.

According to the Inquisitr, the Rx companies have asked the Kitson boutique to stop selling the clothes, as they believe that it could lead to abuse of said drugs. It also trivializes issues which require the specific medication.

All companies have made statements trying to distance themselves from the products being sold by Kitson.

However, the shirts' designer, Brian Lichtenberg, argues that this is just a commentary about American culture and behavior.

“This particular collection of prescription tee’s is simply a commentary on what i see happening in our society. Call it what you may, but art in all forms is created off of pop culture and the social situations surrounding it. A large percentage of Americans are prescribed these drugs by doctors everyday for legitimate reasons,” he defends his decision.
