When you’re getting ready for a night out on the town, as you check yourself in the mirror, make sure you’re glammed up from head to toe – and that includes your shoes. Debenhams is reintroducing the jewelry for shoes that was popular in the ‘80s.

Since we’re seeing a revival of everything ‘80s or vintage, it’s not really that much of a surprise that these nifty little accessories are also making a comeback.

However, now, instead of pinning them to the front of the shoe, you’re expected to have them at the back, thus breathing new glamour into an otherwise regular shoe.

What’s more, Debenhams is also riding high on the star-print wave, coming out with Blingbacks in the shape of sparkly stars, as The Style Column also points out.

“Celestial prints are dominating the fashion world at the moment – with Christopher Kane, Jimmy Choo and Miu Miu all getting in on the action,” the e-zine says.

“But for a more affordable and unique take on the ‘star print’ trend, look no further than a beautiful pair of BLINGBACKS,” TSC writes.

“Blingbacks are the ultimate shoe accessory – attached to the back of a pair of shoes, they offer the perfect way to jazz-up a pair of heels for a night out whilst protecting your heels from rubbing and slipping with a discreet (medical grade) silicon strip,” adds the same publication.

This way, you can take one your older outfits and even a plain pair of shoes and put together an ensemble that will leave your friends green with envy.

What’s even better is that, unlike with other accessories, with this one, you don’t have to break bank, because they’re quite cheap.

“The Blingbacks are launching in Debenhams stores nationwide on 1st October with prices ranging from £12-14 ($18.6 or 13.8 Euros),” TSC informs.

No word yet on whether the Blingbacks will include other designs than the one mentioned above.
