Adblock Plus is already a very popular add-on for those running Mozilla Firefox, but starting today, Internet Explorer users can also download the application for an ad-free browsing experience.

Adblock Plus for Internet Explorer works just like the Firefox counterpart and it runs in your browser to block advertisements displayed as you browse the Internet.

It supports all Internet Explorer still on the market, including 7, 8, 9, and 10, regardless of the Windows version you’re currently running. No Metro support for Windows 8 users is available for the time being.

Adblock Plus for Internet Explorer is still in development stage, so you might actually come across some unexpected bugs and issues while you browse the web. Both 32- and 64-bit builds are available for download, depending on your operating system.
