RedHack hackers have breached the systems of Adana’s Water and Sewage Administration (adana-aski.gov.tr).

The hackers noted that officials of Adana, a city in southern Turkey, were warned on August 5 that their systems were vulnerable. At the time, the Water and Sewage Administration’s website was defaced by RedHack.

Now, the hacktivists have changed the username and password for the site’s admin panel and published the information online.

The organization’s website appears to be working properly. However, the login page has been shut down, most likely to prevent unauthorized access.

The attack follows massive Gezi Park protests. The Turkish government has revealed that it might prosecute those who led the protests.

A few dozen journalists have been sacked or forced to resign due to their coverage of the protests in Istanbul.
