Rocker Adam Levine, the lead singer/guitarist for the rock/pop group Maroon 5, recently confessed he has spent a lot of money on a jacket which he cannot wear, because rapper Kanye West has one exactly the same.
Levine, who's a good friend to Kanye and even appeared on the rapper's Late Registration album, in the third single "Heard 'Em Say", said he was far from thrilled when he saw West at The American Music Awards wearing the same model jacket he had just bought.
As he says: "I bought this jacket he had by mistake. It's just in my closet, and I can't wear it. It's a white YSL beautiful corduroy blazer.
He wore that s**t to the American Music Awards, and I was like, 'Damn it!'"
Adam's high, expressive voice helped the band to achieve much success in the music charts. Their debut album, "Songs about Jane", is about Adam's ex-girlfriend, a girl who, as he says, has inspired him over the years, and most of the lyrics of the songs are inspired by their stormy relationship.
In 2005, Levine also featured on the Ying Yang Twins song, "Live Again".
Adam Levine's major influences include The Beatles and Stevie Wonder, as well as The Police.
