It's a well known fact that Adam Lambert is one of the few artists who actually sound better live than on studio recordings. Last night's performance on Jay Leno should convince even skeptics of that.

Check out the video above if you don't believe us.

Famous for his on-spot improvisations, which makes each song sound differently with every performance, Adam did not disappoint – assuming Glamberts (his fans) would ever feel this way about him.

This was the first time he showcased live his first single off the upcoming album “Trespassing.” It totally rose to the occasion.

Plus, Adam toned down his glam rock look and rocked a very dashing suit, with light makeup and his trademark updo.

“Trespassing” is out in stores in the US on March 20. It's Adam's second album.
