Adam Lambert Performs 'Better Than I Know Myself' on Leno

It's a well known fact that Adam Lambert is one of the few artists who actually sound better live than on studio recordings. Last night's performance on Jay Leno should convince even skeptics of that.

Check out the video above if you don't believe us.

Famous for his on-spot improvisations, which makes each song sound differently with every performance, Adam did not disappoint – assuming Glamberts (his fans) would ever feel this way about him.

This was the first time he showcased live his first single off the upcoming album “Trespassing.” It totally rose to the occasion.

Plus, Adam toned down his glam rock look and rocked a very dashing suit, with light makeup and his trademark updo.

“Trespassing” is out in stores in the US on March 20. It's Adam's second album.

Too bad I couldn't see the video, but I saw him live and you are right on. Adam sounds better live and it's his voice that has me hooked. I can't believe the things he does. Amazing man.

I totally agree! Most other celebs (the ones I know anyway) lip sync, sound completely different from studio records or use way too much improvisation in live shows. Disappointing, really.

I think Adam's live performances are the only ones that sound as good as or even better than studio-recorded songs. He's a naturally gifted singer and performer- his improvisation is perfect.

It's no surprise that he has so many fans- including me. ^ ^
