Not than we needed any more confirmation, but “Trespassing,” Adam Lambert's second studio album, is an epic release, set for greatness. He just made history with it on Billboard charts.

“Trespassing” debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and on the Billboard Digital Albums Chart.

It's Adam's first number 1 debut, since his previous album, “For Your Entertainment,” only peaked at number 3 in its second week of release, Billboard confirms.

At the same time, “Trespassing” has made Adam the first gay and out artist to open at number 1. Before him, only George Michael and Elton John had achieved this feat, but that was before they came out.

Our review of “Trespassing” is here.

Adam deserved this – and his fans made it happen for him.
