A major plot and character twist is in the works in the latest Star Wars movie, if this report turns out to be true. Adam Driver, the first actor to be confirmed on the cast of “Star Wars: Episode VII,” is now longer being linked with the role of Darth Vader.

A report quote by Aceshowbiz claims that the actor is going to play Han Solo and Princess Leia's son in the movie, meaning he did a complete 180 and moved from the bad guys to the good guys camp. His on-screen parents are going to be played by the same actors that starred in the original movie: Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher.

The scoop also mentions that their son played by Adam Driver is going to get lured to the dark side, and part of the movie is going to revolve on their attempt to bring him back. If this is just one of the secondary plots, then Episode VII is in for a lot of action, something the fans will surely be excited about.

The movie is said to be shooting in the Abu Dhabi desert, according to local reports that claim the production team built there huge scenes to mimic planet Tatooine from the original movie.

Directed by J.J. Abrams, “Star Wars: Episode VII” is scheduled to be released in 2015, on December 18, based on a script drafted by Michael Arndt and revised by Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan.
