AdWords Editor 3.0 Available for Download!

As you surely know, AdWords is currently one of the advertising platforms provided by Google, allowing users to advertise on the Internet directly on the SERP or into the ads provided by Google's AdSense. Although AdWords is an online solution, many users prefer to use a downloadable application provided by the company able to help them manage their account settings. AdWords Editor works really simple because it is based on an offline configuration meant to be modified by the user. When the computer goes online, all the changes will be uploaded in the AdWords account so you don't really need a permanent Internet connection to set up your advertising campaign.

Today, the search giant announced a new version of the tool, AdWords Editor 3.0 being improved with several functions that were already implemented into the online solution. The most interesting update seems to be the possibility of pausing or resuming ads, keywords and sites, a feature that was recently added to the original service. The company published the release notes to mention all the improvements added to the latest version of the downloadable tool:

- Site targeting: AdWords Editor now provides full support for site-targeted campaigns.
- Negative sites: Add or edit negative sites for keyword- and site-targeted campaigns.
- Edit while you wait: If you manage multiple accounts with AdWords Editor, edit another account while your changes post.
- Count your selection: The status bar now displays the number of rows you've selected in the data view.
- Pause or resume ads, keywords, and sites: Use the Status menu in the edit panel to change the status of selected items.

AdWords Editor 3.0 is currently available only for Windows 2000/XP/Vista but the company plans a Mac version in the upcoming weeks. If you're already an AdWords Editor user, you can update to the latest version by using the autoupdate feature, or download the 3.0 edition from Softpedia.
