No official announcement but we're getting closer to a new flavor of the famous Google advertising platform, AdSense. The Mountain View company debuted a private beta test of AdSense, the advertising platform that might migrate to the mobile devices very soon. According to Self Made Minds, the folks from the Googleplex sent several emails to the selected advertisers in order to informthem about the availability of the mobile advertising platform. Basically, the new flavor of AdSense will place adverts on the mobile websites, becoming available to all the users who access the Internet from a handheld device.

"As part of our efforts to develop new and improved AdSense products for our partners, we will begin a limited beta test for AdSense for mobile. AdSense for mobile allows publishers to monetize their mobile websites through the placement of targeted text ads. Publishers can take advantage of the fast-growing mobile advertising market and benefit from our targeting technology," the email reads according to the same source.

In the recent period, Google made several efforts to expand its advertising offering but avoided to offer too many signs about its plans. However, the famous AdWords solution might evolve in a different direction as the parent Google tried to take it into the offline media.

It all started a long time ago when Google signed deals with US newspapers able to publish the company's adverts and take AdWords into its pages. Then, the US radio stations played audio adverts to its listeners in order to enhance Google's audio ad campaign. Moreover, the Mountain View giant announced its plans to take the advertising process straight on the street by placing adverts on the billboards.

Today, the advertising solutions AdSense evolves and offers the chance to reach another type of users who are accessing the Internet from a handheld device.
