Massage chairs are not exactly a great novelty, since they've been around for quite some time now, but it would seem that even the companies manufacturing such products are starting to take some cues from what's going on around them, the latest example coming from Human Touch, whose Acutouch HT-9500 massage chair is controlled via an iPhone app.

The feature in question is called HT-Connect and offers iPhone, iPod touch or iPad users an interactive interface that allows for more customization of their massages and remembers them on subsequent visits to the massage chair.

Apart from Apple-friendly feature, the massage chair provides plenty of other features, such as the Acupoint Detection System, that allows the chair to “learn” one's body by scanning the entire length of the back to find some key pressure points that will be targeted throughout the massage experience.

Additionally, the chair has large dual lumbar heating pads, in order to keep the muscles warm and deliver a pleasurable feeling.

Beside massaging one's back, the Acutouch HT-9500 also offers Foot and Calf Massager functions, adding an extra level of relaxation.

Much in the same way as most other such products on the market, the device offers plenty of built-in massage programs, but also numerous customization options, practically allowing users to choose exactly the combinations that best suit their needs.

Acutouch HT-9500 massage chair comes in natural tone colors of rich black and espresso, which is a creamy dark brown color giving it a clean and classic look.

However, it will take some space around the house or office, since it measures 80 x 38 x 26 inches and has a weight of around 245 Lbs., while also supporting a maximum load of around 285 Lbs.

Naturally, given the fact that we're talking about an advanced relaxation machine, it should come as no surprise that it's actually pretty expensive, the Acutouch HT-9500 selling for around US $4,799.00.
