John Cho has just become a daddy again. The handsome actor, who will be seen next in J.J. Abrams’ much hyped “Star Trek Into Darkness,” reprising his role as Sulu, has confirmed the birth of his second child.

E! News has the details, as scarce as they are.

“The Go On actor has welcomed a baby girl with wife Kerri Higuchi, their second child together, Cho's rep confirmed Monday to E! News. They're also parents to a 4-year-old son,” the celebrity publication says.

The 40-year-old actor married Kerri, who is also working in the industry, in 2006 and, save for extraordinary moments like this one, hardly ever make headlines on personal matters.

Instead, Cho gets plenty of attention for his work, which has been keeping him increasingly busy these past several years, as E! also notes – that is, besides “Star Trek Into Darkness,” which is one of the most hyped releases of the year.

“In addition to his Go On duties, the three-time Harold & Kumar star is currently on the big screen in Identity Thief and he reprises his role as Sulu in the upcoming Star Trek Into Darkness,” the celebrity publication says.

“The preternaturally youthful-looking 40-year-old also starred in last fall's Total Recall remake and appeared in American Reunion. Higuchi, who tied the knot with Cho in 2006, recently had a guest spot on Parks and Recreation,” adds the same media outlet.

Fans will also remember Cho for his role as Harold Lee in the “Harold & Kumar” films, and his role in the “American Pie” franchise.

Some of them might even know him as a musician.

As noted above, for the time being, these are all the details available on Cho’s new bundle of joy.

If and when he and his wife decide to go public with more, including a name for their newborn daughter, rest assured you’ll find out about it here.
