The man wants people to quit buying jackets, pillows made from down

This Friday, some of the people in Philadelphia will probably come across a man dressed up as a half-plucked goose.

His sole purpose will be that of walking the city's streets and drawing attention to the fact that pillows and jackets made from down must be linked to animal cruelty.

In comes as no surprise that this man is a member of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), a green-oriented organization whose firm belief is that, “If a product came from an animal, the chances that abuse and suffering were involved are roughly 100 percent.”

The sign held up by this man will read “Plucked Alive,” and numerous other PETA supporters will accompany him on his stroll.

Just for the record, this particular anti-animal cruelty campaign brings a whole new meaning to Bruce Springsteen's “Streets of Philadelphia” (music video down below).
