The Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) 2.0 Content Map is now available via TechNet, the result of an ongoing process, as Microsoft put it. According to the software giant, the content map is designed to make it as easy as possible for members of the AD FS 2.0 community to find relevant materials about the technology.

Introduced earlier this week, the new AD FS 2.0 wiki page will evolve continuously with contributions from the AD FS team at the Redmond company.

However, customers also leveraging AD FS 2.0 can also ensure that the content map grows in a manner that suits them best by providing feedback to Microsoft.

“Members of the AD FS product team will monitor this article on a regular basis and will post new links as they become available on Microsoft.com,” the software giant stated.

“We would like to enlist your help in adding useful links to this article in order to make hot AD FS 2.0 topics and solutions more discoverable to the overall community.”

Essentially, fresh links will be added to the AD FS 2.0 Content Map as soon as new content goes live on Microsoft.com.

In this regard, the AD FS 2.0 community will have a one-stop location to easily access and stay up to date with AD FS 2.0 information.

At this point in time, customers that head over to the new TechNet wiki page can Learn about AD FS 2.0; Research AD FS 2.0 Solutions; Design and Deploy AD FS 2.0; Manage AD FS 2.0; and Troubleshoot AD FS 2.0.

Microsoft explains that “Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) 2.0 provides support for claims-aware identity solutions that involve Windows Server and Active Directory technology. AD FS 2.0 supports the WS-Trust, WS-Federation, and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) protocols.”
