It tackles problems with online backups and network connectivity

Acronis released a fresh update for their backup utility, Acronis True Image, which integrates several fixes and turns on the Acronis Customer Experience Program (CEP) by default.

CEP’s aim is to gather feedback from users in order to improve their experience with the application and to allow them to contribute with suggestions for new features.

The glitches fixed with the update to build 6673 of Acronis True Image 17 include the lack of response of the online backup component when trying to reconnect to Acronis Cloud.

Also repaired is the failure of the synchronization agent to grab files from the online storage. On the same note, the previous revision would try to reconnect to the network for even as long as an hour if the connection was lost and, consequently, the backup operation would not be carried out.

Other issues that have been repaired refer to downloading an old copy of the documentation and updating of the links for contacting support.
