Acronis True Image Home 2012 Update 1

A new build, #6131, is available for Acronis True Image 2012 (reviewed here). The issues it fixes range from hard drive detection, failure to create rescue media, problems related to Network Access Storage devices or error messages when updating from 2011 edition of the suite.

Installing over a previous version of the package also led in some cases to trouble detecting hard disks on the system. As NAS (Network Access Storage) support has been introduced in the 2012 suite, some of the fixes in this build refer to issues when backing up to this sort of devices, accompanied by the “Access is denied” error message.

Other issues would be: de-activation of the product after 30, failure to restore deep level files or not being able to browse XLSX, DOCX and TXT files in “recover” mode after editing them.
