Acer recently unveiled a new Chromebook dubbed the C720, and now more details about it are emerging. Google Apps Certified Deployment Specialist Fredrik Linnander from Sweden had the opportunity to learn more about the C720 and even posted a few pictures showcasing it on his Google+ account.

According to him, the new device will come in 5 different variants and one of them will be boasting a full touch screen.

Users will also be given the opportunity to choose a 32GB SSD with 4GB of RAM variant. Even if you could add extra RAM and storage with the previous Acer Chromebooks, the C720 does not offer the upgrade option.

Apart from that, all the models will feature an 11-inch display with 1366 x 768 pixel density, USB 3.0, SD card slots, HDMI out, and a webcam.

The 45 Whr 3950mAh Battery is said to last up to 6 hours.

Fredrik Linnander claims that Acer is currently looking to take a step back from its current pricing policy, so the new Chromebook might not be so wallet-friendly as one would expect. He claims that the company will price them around $545 / €404.
