Acer has made available the drivers for its most recent release, namely the Aspire R7 notebook. Intel, Realtek, NVIDIA, and other producers come with various files developed for this revolutionary device.

First, I should highlight that the R7 touch notebook is developed to support only the 64-bit version of Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system, and that’s why the available drivers are also compatible with the same platform.

As usual, Intel takes care of components like the 3rd-generation Core i5 CPU, 6 GB DDR memory, and other chipset parts through its Management Engine (ME), Rapid Start Technology, SATA AHCI, and Chipset drivers.

In addition to that, Intel, along with NVIDIA, enables the HD Graphics 4000 chip through the 9.17.10.3062 and 9.18.13.1141 driver versions, which power the 15.6-inch full HD display.

Moreover, the touchpad functionality is guaranteed by Synaptics or ELANTECH through the 16.3.12.31 or 11.6.20.203 file versions.

Furthermore, Atheros and Broadcom are the producers that will enable the 802.11a/b/g/n wireless feature of the R7, and Realtek will take care of the Ethernet connectivity.

In addition, Realtek also provides functionality for the Secure Digital (SD) card reader, and for the four powerful speakers.

That being said, follow the link below, and from the list, download all the files you need to have an up-to-date notebook.
