The company brings resistant machines that can be handled with ease everywhere

PC manufacturer Acer announces some new additions to its commercial product portfolio, adding the TravelMate X313 convertible ultrabook model. On top of that, the company also introduced a revamp of its TravelMate P laptop line which includes the P255, P455 and P645.

The TravelMate X313 line gives the power of switching between the office and on-the-road work environment, so it is excellently suited for professionals and the business environment.

The advantage is that people can use it in tablet-mode as well as in notebook mode. Acer offers two models here – the TravelMate X313-E and TravelMate X313-M. Both are built for durability, with an 11.6-inch display immune to scratches and a hefty aluminum body.

Acer has packed Intel Core i5 and Intel Pentium 2129Y processors under the hood of the two devices, coupled to up to 4GB of RAM. The display features a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution while internal storage comes in two options, 60GB or 120GB.

The X313 ships pre-packed with a bunch of useful Acer apps like MemoryBinder, which lets users draw on their photos, ScreenGraps, Scrapboard and AccuFinger. The machines run Windows 8.

For those interested, the TravelMate X313 will become available for customers in Europe beginning with the end of September, with price range starting at $1381 / €999.

As for the revamped TavelMare P line, it will arrive in October, with prices between $742 / €549 and $1554 / €1,149.
