Acer has recently added yet another Aspire model to its extensive range of notebook solutions, this latest company creation being designed to run Intel's second generation Core processors paired together with AMD discrete graphics.

The Aspire 7750G is designed around a 17.3-inch screen fitted inside a bland black and gray chassis that has a tough time standing out of a crowd.

On the inside, the notebook is built to feature an Intel Core i5-2410M processor paired together with 4GB of system memory, users upgradeable to 8GB, and with a 750GB hard drive spinning at 5400RPM.

For those of you that don't remember, the Core i5-2410M is a dual-core part with Hyper-Threading support clocked at 2.3GHz, but thanks to Turbo Boost the chip can reach speeds up to 2.9GHz.

As all second generation Core mobile processors, the i5-2410M also features an HD 3000 integrated GPU, but Asus has decided to pair this with a dedicated Radeon HD 6650M graphics card featuring 1GB of on-board memory.

The rest of the features list is fairly standard and the notebook includes a DVD burner, a 1.3 megapixels webcam, Wi-Fi b/g/n and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity (Bluetooth is lacking) and a pair of speakers with Dolby Advanced Audio v2 certification.

On the connectivity side of things, Acer customers get a multi-format memory card reader, four USB 2.0 ports (an USB 3.0 port would have been an welcomed addition), as well as HDMI and VGA video outputs.

The 17.3-inch LED-backlit screen has a native resolution of 1600x900 pixels and provides 220 nits of brightness, while the 6-cell 4400mAh battery included can keep the notebook running for up to 3 hours.

In Europe, Acer has priced the 2414G75Mn version of the Aspire 7750G at a rather low 555 Euros, which translates into about $747 US. (via Laptop Spirit)
