Another appealing Android-based smartphone has been updated to the latest version of Google's mobile operating system, Android 2.2, namely the Acer Liquid E.

The new software solution was made available for download via Acer's support website, for devices available for purchase in Canada via Fido or Rogers.

Although Acer already put the files for download up on its website, it did not offer specific info on what enhancements the update would include.

Not only did Acer announce the fact that users can now get the new solution, but Rogers too posted links to the Android OS 2.2 Froyo update for its Acer Liquid E users.
