Today Acer announced it was diversifying its touch-enabled Chromebook portfolio, by adding a new color option, the Moonstone White.

The new Acer C720P-2600 is entirely white, providing users with a stylish, pleasing design. But apart from the fresh look, nothing has been changed in terms of specifications.

The Moonstone Chromebook features the same 11.6-inch HD LED backlit display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels we have seen in the original C720P model, when it was first released.

Acer has slipped an Intel Celeron 2955U processor based on Haswell architecture backed up by 2GB of RAM, to power everything up. On top of that, the model comes with 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, and integrated HD webcam.

Like any Chromebook devices out there, buyers of this model will be offered 100GB of free Google Drive storage for the next two years.

Acer has also announced it will make the white Chrome notebook available in Switzerland, Germany, Russia, UK, France, Netherlands, Sweden and Finland for €299 / $408 a pop.
