Acer's collection of monitors has entered a growth spurt, so now we have several new LED-backlit models to talk about, all of which can already be found online, save for two.

One of the displays that have not yet started shipping, and will do so only next month (April, 2012), is the Acer S271HL. Its price is of $329 (250 Euro).

A widescreen panel, it boasts the 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution (Full HD) and the 16:9 aspect ratio, plus DVI and HDMI ports with high-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) support.

There is also VESA compliance, which means that it can be easily mounted on a wall.

The S230HL Abd and S230HL Abii are two of the three 23-inch panels, both of which offer similar performance parameters as above.

Their connectors are different though: VGA and DVI exist on the former, while the latter has VGA and dual HDMI.

The prices are of $169 / 128 Euro and $189 / 144 Euro, respectively.

Moving on, we have the 23-inch S235HL, which stands apart from its two peers through its slimmer profile (it is barely more than half an inch thick) and the 2012 iF product design award.

The minimalist, modern look is emphasized by the asymmetrical design and the silver stand, plus the embedded ice-blue LED buttons and the location of the I/O ports (on the base, for minimum cable clutter).

The resolution and aspect ratio are the same as above and the list of ports is made up of VGA and two HDMI with HDCP. The price is of $219 / 166.43 Euro, but sales will start only in April.

Finally, we have the 10-inch Acer S200HL, which settles for a resolution of 1,600 x 900 pixels, VGA and DVI inputs and a price of $139 / 105.63 Euro.

All newcomers have a DCR (dynamic contrast ratio) of 100,000,000:1, for high clarity during dim or bright scenes. The response time is of 5 ms and the power consumption is up to 68% lower than that of other LCDs. Energy Star compliance is a given, and Acer even managed to build the newcomer without mercury, making them more environment-friendly than most.
